Does anyone know some good equipment for a beginner? I'm trying to have some fun, and see what I can do with it too

I have used google, and it either shows really good ones, or stuff that are like $150+...

everyone will give you different answers because it is a subjective question....if you were asking me...the absolute bang for your buck that no one will ever give you shit about... id pick.... mic: studio projects b1 or audio technica at 2020 or rode nt1a....all 100 bucks....audio interface: m audio fast track for pc or apogee one for mac... both are the cheapest acceptable interfaces for pc or mac..... preamp: id pick a golden age projects pre 73 but you could get ..... a black lion audio autuner or fmr rnc or grace m101 or groove tubes brick....all great entry level preamps just depends on what you want your vocals to sound like .... id say best advice check out TweakHeadz Lab Electronic Musician's Hangout ...do some research there and think about what you really hope to achieve in your home studio.... then you will make a better purchase.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. I'll look into it a little more before I start buying stuff. All I really thought I needed was audio editing software, a mic and a pop filter lol.
