It's amazing to see where rap music has evolved to from Biggie dropping this song over a decade ago, to his passing, and to a new generation of rappers of young rappers like D-League paying tribute to him.
"[Beatboxing] It's a metaphysical process of becoming an instrument of music, and a human sound machine."-- Jason Tom shares his thoughts about his favorite element of hip-hop. Check AR's interview with this Hawaiian beatboxer.
iLL-Literacy presents the groups first album "iB4the1.1," for free at their official website: ill-literacy.com. This is the first of a 3 part album release.
The tracklisting: 1. HihowRu 2. Gentleman's Kool-Aid 3. The HereNow 4. Finding Emo 5 Circus Nights
Member and album producer, Dahlak, says: “Despite its brevity, .1 is grand in its effort to bridge sampled voice and original instrumentation, experimental music and hip-hop narrative. The sound of iLL-Literacy draws character from an unusual blend of influences, spanning funk, afro beat, alternative, soul and of course hip-hop. This is iLL-Lit before the start. The prequel to the saga. iLL-Lit before the One. Take that how you want.”

Jin shows no sign of fear or intimidation on his face as he calmly records his video reply to Dizaster while sitting around a dinner table at 1 AM in Hong Kong.
"Dizaster I accept your challenge on 4 conditions: 1) We have to battle in L.A., 2) Unlimited time rounds, 3) I get to battle Illmaculate on the same day, 4) No Asian or short jokes."
Of course, he kids... the fourth was a joke.
Jin says "I can't wait" in regards to the battle, and says he should be in Los Angeles mid-November.
Is it just me or does this have to be like the Pacquio and Mayweather fight of battle raps. Who cares about Jin VS Dizaster anymore, I'm looking forward to the Jin VS Illmaculate battle. We all know Jin's credentials, and we all know Illmaculate's credentials.
Let me be the first to say that things just got exciting around here.
MC Dizaster recently posted an online video that directly targets Jin tha MC-- and it gets real ugly.
"This is what I want everybody to know: This wasnt even intended to be a battle with Kim Chi, this shit was to call out Jin because I think he's a bit--," Dizaster says.
MC Dizaster regularly takes part in the Grind Time battle league. (The league that arranged the Tantrum VS Dumbfoundead battle) He also battled on MTV2's "World Hip Hop Championship" to win a million dollars.
Of course, Dizaster hits below the belt with the typical racial jokes and a few personal attacks about Jin's manager. At the end of all the smack talking, Dizaster makes one final remark to Jin: "You're garbage, you're washed up, and if you don't accept this battle, you're a pussy!"
