It's amazing to see where rap music has evolved to from Biggie dropping this song over a decade ago, to his passing, and to a new generation of rappers of young rappers like D-League paying tribute to him.
"[Beatboxing] It's a metaphysical process of becoming an instrument of music, and a human sound machine."-- Jason Tom shares his thoughts about his favorite element of hip-hop. Check AR's interview with this Hawaiian beatboxer.
By now everybody has heard about the balloon boy incident being a hoax. Although this story is getting more coverage than it should, we had to post this video up. Watch the boy's reaction, who's name is Falcon, when he hears that the family is about to be interviewed by CNN's host, Wolf Blitzer.
Oh no, not another one of these movies! All I can do is shake my head in curiousity as I watched the trailer. Shaking my head from a disappointing role for Jackie Chan, but curious because c'mon.. it's a Jackie Chan movie!
It's funny to see what American media thinks of when they do an "Asian" commercial. Check out this commercial from Panda Express promoting Chinese food. Be sure to listen in the end for the typical Chinese music. How come Asian's always have to be so traditionally Asian and not "Asian American"? I don't see Taco Bell or any Mexican food chains playing traditional Mexican music in their commercials! You know what I'm talking about, the type they play at local stores, or you some times hear being blasted in cars on the street.
It looks like Grace Park, the actress, is starting to set herself apart from all of the other Grace Park's out there (which is one of the most common female Korean names out there!). She just made the cover of Maxim magazine along with co-star Tricia Helfer.
Grace and Tricia (both 35) will also soon heat up your flat screens when Battlestar Galactica: The Plan is released on DVD on Tuesday, October 27 and on Sci-Fi early 2010.

Jay Sean has already made a name for himself in the UK, but now he’s finally made a name for himself in the US. His U.S. debut album doesn’t hit the stores until another month, yet his first single “Down” featuring Lil Wayne has reached platinum status in digital sales, and has reached the #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 and the #1 position on Top 40 radio. It seemed that the newly signed Cash Money recording artist stunned the music industry with his quick, and successful crossover-- but that’s no surprise if you’re backed by the Cash Money empire.
Jay Sean shares the judgment he faced during the process of his crossover and the motive behind his album title “All or Nothing.”

You might recognize Paul Dateh as the violinist from the popular Hip Hop Violin with Inca One video on Youtube. The violin isn't Paul's only talent, however, he also has a talent for writing songs and singing. On this occasion, Paul chooses to take center stage while Ken Belcher plays the guitar in his new single, "Good Life."
"People say you have to live like a star to prove you are living the good life..but all that matters is that you know what you want to accomplish in your life,"Paul Dateh sings. The chorus brings a refreshing change from the materialistic themes that often dominates mainstream music.
The positive, feel good kind of song will be officially released in stores on November 3rd. Here is the music video directed by the Bui Brothers.
Everyone's seen some crazy things riding the public transportation system. Good thing that nowadays everyone has a cell phone camera to film them. In this video, a bus rider recorded footage of an altercation between two women over, get this, a bus seat.
We've seen fights break out over love, over money, over many things. But a bus seat? Come on folks!
Anyway, there are a couple of good head-knocks on here. Props to the Asian girl who got between it and tried to referee a clean fight.
